Coach Code of Conduct
As a coach for Camden Town WFC, I will commit and adhere to the following code of conduct and will ensure I uphold these standards at all times as a representative of the football club:
- Show respect at all times to staff members, teammates, officials and opposition.
- Act in a manner appropriate to the representation of Camden Town Women Football Club at all times.
- Use appropriate language at all times.
- Enforce the Player Code of Conduct and Parent Code of Conduct, and ensure that all players/parents act in an appropriate fashion.
- Create, develop and maintain a positive learning environment for the team. Encourage and uphold high standards of all members of the team.
- Be responsible for the safeguarding and welfare of all players, highlighting any potential issues to Club Management as early as possible.
- Ensure punctuality to all sessions/games, being the first to arrive, and the last to leave.
- Embrace and adhere to the Club Football Philosophy, bringing it to life in every practice, session and game.
- Promote and support the Club, from Academy to First Team, and encourage Parents/Players to do the same wherever possible.
- Communicate clearly and effectively to all members of staff, players, parents and officials.
- Wear appropriate coaching attire, dressing in the club-branded kit wherever possible, to ensure immediate recognition as the coach of the club.
- Continue CPD and outside learning throughout the season, to ensure highest standard of coaching and delivery.
If any coach does not follow the Coach Code of Conduct to the standard as expected by the club and its staff, they could face the below disciplinary procedures (at the club's discretion):
- Verbal warning issued by club management.
- A written warning issued by club management.
- Temporary suspension from involvement in competitive matches and/or training sessions for a period of time that the club deems suitable.
- Permanent exclusion from club and team, with all training/match kit provided to be returned and any applicable fines paid to the club.
