Player Code of Conduct

As a player for Camden Town WFC, I will commit and adhere to the following code of conduct and will ensure I uphold these standards at all times as a representative of the football club:

  1. Show respect at all times to staff members, teammates, officials and opposition.

  2. Display good discipline on and off the pitch.

  3. Use appropriate language at all times.

  4. Motivate and encourage my teammates.

  5. Shake hands with teammates and coaches when substituted.

  6. Be sure to say "Hello" and "Goodbye" to all teammates and coaches at the start & end of every training session and match.

  7. Take responsibility for your own actions and learn from your mistakes.

  8. Take responsibility for your kit, clean boots, drinks bottles, shin pads, and gloves for goalkeepers.

  9. Be punctual at all coaching sessions, games or any other meetings arranged for you.

  10. Inform your coach at the earliest opportunity of non-attendance for any training sessions and/or matches.

If any player does not follow the Player Code of Conduct to the standard as expected by the club and its staff, they could face the below disciplinary procedures (at the club's discretion):

  1. Verbal warning issued by coaching staff, with player parents/guardians being notified where applicable.

  2. A written warning issued by club management, with player parents/guardians being notified where applicable.

  3. Temporary suspension from involvement in competitive matches and/or training sessions for a period of time that the club deems suitable.

  4. Permanent exclusion from club and team, with all training/match kit provided to be returned and any applicable fines paid to the club.

Players have the right to be safe from abuse and can discuss any concerns or issues with the Welfare Officer (harry@camdentownwfc.com) at any time at the link below.
